I’m Stephanie M. Hutchins, PhD. I’ve spent 16 years working across higher education as a professor, academic advisor, director of academic support, and learning specialist, supporting both undergraduate and graduate students in demanding academic environments.

Throughout that work, I have seen how often capable, hardworking students begin to struggle when the demands of their program start outpacing the strategies that once helped them succeed. They may still care deeply. They may still be putting in enormous effort. But they no longer feel clear, steady, or confident about how to move forward.

I created Prep 4 Higher Ed to give students more personalized, strategic support in those moments—support that helps them understand what is happening, identify what matters most, and make a realistic plan for what comes next.
